Ces réunions ont lieu une fois par mois, de septembre à juin, un jeudi soir, dans le Town Hall de Haywards Heath, 40 Boltro Road, Haywards Heath RH16 1BA (parking gratuit est disponible).
Notre Histoire
La Société, a été fondée en 1971 par un groupe anglais de professeurs de français de la région qui cherchaient l'occasion d'étendre leur connaissance de la France et de la langue française en organisant des réunions informelles où la langue principale parlée pendant la soirée était le français. Cette tradition se perpétue et un programme de conférences en français est publié annuellement. En décembre et en juin a lieu une soirée amicale où nous dînons ensemble à la bonne franquette.
Welcome to The Mid Sussex Franco British Society
In Haywards Heath in the heart of Sussex there is the opportunity to enjoy hearing and speaking French at informal meetings of the Mid-Sussex Franco-British Society. These meetings are held once a month between September and June on a Thursday evening in the Town Hall, 40 Boltro Road, Haywards Heath, RH16 1BA (free parking available).
Our History
The Society was founded in 1971 by a local group of English teachers of French who sought the opportunity to expand their knowledge of France and the French language by organising informal gatherings where the main language of the evening was French. This tradition continues to this day and a programme of talks by French speakers, interspersed with informal social evenings notably in December and June, is published annually.
